報告題目：Modeling of Releases of Sterile Mosquitoes and Interactive Dynamics with Wild Mosquitoes

報告摘要：The sterile insect technique (SIT), in which sterile mosquitoes are released to reduce or eradicate wild mosquitoes, is an effective weapon to prevent transmissions of mosquito-borne diseases. To study the impact of SIT on the disease transmissions, we formulate continuous- or discrete-time mathematical models with homogeneous or stage-structured wild and sterile mosquitoes populations to explore their interactive dynamics. Different releasing strategies are incorporated into the various models and their impacts on the interactive dynamics are investigated and compared.
報告人簡(jiǎn)介：Jia Li 教授主要從事于動(dòng)力系統、微分方程、差分方程、數學(xué)建模、人口動(dòng)力學(xué)、傳染病動(dòng)力學(xué)、數學(xué)生態(tài)學(xué)、數學(xué)傳染病學(xué)及數學(xué)生態(tài)毒理學(xué)等方面的研究，在SCI源期刊上發(fā)表論文80余篇，獲得多項美國國家科學(xué)基金項目，任Mathematical Biology and Engineering、Journal of Biological Dynamics、Annuals of Differential Equations、Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science等雜志的副主編。李佳教授多次組織和參與有關(guān)生物數學(xué)方面的國際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì )議，在國內外多所高校進(jìn)行講學(xué)，為生物數學(xué)的研究做出了巨大貢獻，是國際生物數學(xué)領(lǐng)域有重要影響的專(zhuān)家。
